How Lost in Space Played a Role

Behind the Scenes

Green Screen and Lighting Kit

The OBE Show was originally planned as a standard host sitting in front of a green screen, discussing esoteric subjects with guests superimposed on the green backdrop. Choosing to do something more fun and interesting to his creative sense, Jonathan changed direction and instead built a 3D movie set from where his avatar would host the show. This left room to expand, swap and change sets with a wave of his CAD/CAM wand.

Covid Shutdowns

A few months after releasing "Limitless Mind" on Prime Video, Jonathan submitted 5 additional episodes for publication on the popular platform. Amazon canceled each episode, explaining that due to Covid they were short of workers to process submitted content. After spending four years and a chunk of change on the productions, a frustrated Jonathan received an email from a colleague in LA. Patti Negri and her partner Natalie Jones had launched a new platform called ParaFlixx. Would you like to come aboard with your episodes under an exclusive contract? The answer was a resounding Yes. The OBE Show had found a home. In June of 2001, ParaFlixx began releasing the six episodes over a 6-month period.

Life on Hold

Jonathans' creative projects have taken a backseat to his goal of propeling his research onto the public stage of mainstream media, archeologists, geologists and the like. Jonathan is adamant that this phenomenon is bigger than him and that he will not forsake the great architects. His book sequels, The Dolphinius Effect and Legend of the Dogman, have been shelved for the time being. Film projects will get the slow roll treatment in the production pipeline until such time as Jonathan has achieved a measure of disclosure and media attention.
